The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for implementing policies to ensure a safe and health work environment and for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Essential Functions
1.Develop and implement safety and environmental programs.
2.Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations.
3.Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and committee meetings to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
4.Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans.
5.Train employees on environmental, health and safety procedures and regulations.
6.Manage hazardous waste disposal and other environmental concerns.
7.Maintain all required records and documentation.
8.Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety.
9.Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
1.Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related field
2.3-5 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety
3.Knowledge of local, state, federal, OSHA and EPA regulations
4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5.Experience with hazardous waste disposal and environmental concerns
6.Certification in EHS management preferred.
